Web Design
Want to learn about web page design, digital graphics, digital audio, animation, the Internet, and a whole lot more? Learn about Web Design using state of the art software applications such as Adobe Dreamweaver, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, Audition, Premiere, and Animate.
Many of the skills learned in class can even be applied to your favorite social networking services to customize and enhance your profiles!
Some of the topics studied include HTML, Illustrator (Vector Graphics), Dreamweaver, Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), Graphic Design, Photoshop, Acrobat, Digital Audio, Video, Animate (Motion Graphics)
This course will provide students with a solid foundation in topics of the Internet and computing in the 21st century. Students will learn about Web Design, Multimedia, and the Internet; including HTML, vector graphics, bitmap graphics, cascading style sheets, graphic design, digital audio, video, and animation using industry standard software applications such as Adobe Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Acrobat, Audition, Premiere, and Animate.
Students will have extensive hands-on lab experience designing, developing, and maintaining websites and supporting materials. Students will also learn strategies for creating intuitive and accessible web sites.
This course also provides students the opportunity to acquire greater technical knowledge and requisite skills needed for successful entry level employment in: Web Design, Graphic Design, Advertising Design, Animation, Illustration, Layout Art, and Digital Publishing.
