Johansen is excited to share information about our 2025 Summer School program – which runs from June 4 through July 2, 2025. Please note there will be no school on June 19 in observance of the holiday. Summer School supports students who need to make up credits that are required for graduation or to stay on track for college entrance (A-G) requirements. We strongly encourage families to consider this opportunity to ensure their student’s continued academic progress. We have several sessions available: Morning Session: 8:30 AM – 12:00 PM / Afternoon Session: 12:30 PM – 4:00 PM / Both sessions (if student has 2 or more classes to take) Meals: Breakfast and lunch will be provided each day for all students attending Summer School. Calling ALL JUNIORS! Thinking about college? Sign-up for the PSAT exam. If you do well you could receive a National Merit Scholarship which also looks great on college applications. Modesto City Schools pays the test fees for all students in grade 11 to participate. The test will be October 12. If you are interested in participating, see your college counselor. **Students in grades 9 and 10 can still participate but must pay their own test fees.
